The Hydra deck is the lightest, most technologically advanced scooter deck ever made thanks to Aztek's patent-pending hydroformed design. By replacing the typical head-tube junction with a smooth one-piece contour, force is spread evenly on the deck, resulting in a stronger, lighter design. This deck features the same concave as Aztek's street decks for awesome feel and control. The Hydra will take your park riding to the next level.

By far my favourite deck that I’ve ridden.
It’s lasted about a year and a half with a lot of riding and hard landings and finally gave up. The break snapped about 5 months into riding and it cracked at the rear wheel where the axel inserts. Very light deck and the design makes it easier to land the trick if you land on the headtube. I don’t recommend for newer riders.

Aztek Hydra Deck

I’ve been riding the hydra deck for about 6 months and I love it! The brake is the weakest point on the deck, and it’s lasted longer than any envy brake I’ve had on my previous decks. I haven’t noticed any sort of flex, bending or cracks in the deck. The slit in the middle will take some getting used to but after about a week of riding you’ll be learning new tricks left right and center.

I think this deck is really strong! Because it’s all one piece, which includes taking out the weakest point which is welded where the deck and head tube meet!
