The myth of ABEC rating has run rampant in action sports for decades. ABEC is a rating of tolerance/precision, but doesn't necessarily equate to performance or durability in an action sports applications.

These bearings are not ABEC rated, but instead have been designed specifically for the rigours of action sports. They feature quality rubber seals to keep out dirt and moisture. A light grease is used instead of the industry standard oil for more durable lubrication.
